Hi Everyone
It's been quiet a long time since I last wrote, should update. Not a whole lot has been going on at my house. Just keeping busy with daycare/kids/all their activities. I did get to go see Casting Crowns in Concert with Stacy, Haily and Erica, it was absolutely awesome. It was so fun to hang out with the girls and spend some alone time with Erica.. Our 3rd cat Harmony now had just had her babies, so we have another 3 KITTENS! I am now called the cat lady of Elk River. We will find homes for them all. I have a couple resources that I will use... a program that is called SCRAM that will help me find homes, and get me a huge discount on having the mama's spayed then I won't have to worry about having this kitten invasion again. I love them all though... nothing cuter then a kitten! and now I have 12 kittens!!! and 3 mama's! We have decided to keep two of the kittens, the kids have named Yummy - because he looks like a yummy snickers candy bar, and then there is BJ - for Baily Jr. I sure hope we don't have the problems we did with the other two cats - we moved here and they started peeing..
We finally have gotten carpet installed in our living room down stairs. we still have some work to do, mostly going thru stuff and organizing, and decorating. I guess we will get there eventually... I have to learn to be patient. there is so much to do around here that it can be pure torture to think of all the things..
Erica will start fast pitch in a couple weeks, I am a little excited for that, I think she will be a natural... can't wait to watch her.
Daycare is getting better - I now have baby Vyctoria a 2 month old little one. she is such a good little baby. In about another month I will be losing 1 daycare child and another one just for the summer... but I think will be adding a couple more for summer, so it will work out fine. Rick will start putting more hours in and we will be just fine. I am a little excited, I am now on a new mission to lose weight! I was challenged!! and I can earn $50.00 by losing 30lbs by Aug. 23.
So if you read this say a little prayer for me once in awhile that my will power will stay strong!
Mike's dance recital will be coming up May 17th if anyone is interested! 2pm at E.R. High School. I always love to go to those...
alright, getting late and I have about 5 loads of laundry to fold!
until I write again!

First Communion - Erica

My oldest Erica had her first communion today, I am so proud of her, she went up to the front and was recognized and then she was brave enough to read her statement on what communion means to her. She did awesome. We arrived back at church at noon to share a meal in celebrating this big step for her. The meal was awesome, and then the church had us do a Seder Meal. My first! It was neat to be with all my kids and learn the way Jesus did things. It was funny because Nicholas was getting pretty sick of drinking the juice and eating gross stuff. But he made it thru it. I am so proud of Erica. It was funny because I just assumed Erica knew that today was the day she would do her first communion. when we were getting ready to go up, I showed her how to hold her hands so that they knew she was receiving. she looked at me surprised, and said I GET TO EAT THE BREAD!!! Not sure what she was thinking what the day was all about... but she was very pleased. After church we came home and took a much needed Sunday nap Me, Rick, Erica & Brooke. While we snoozed off into a warm snugly sleep the other two completely destroyed the house, it looked like a tornado hit us. I couldn't believe it, in an hours time how much damage they could do. I didn't think it was possible. and I was right there with them on the couch!!! so the rest of our Sunday afternoon was spent cleaning up the mess. The nap was NOT worth it. Well, I suppose should get ready for a busy week.

Perfect Day
Thought I better up date my blog. Not much new to report.. I am just trying to recover from bronchitis and a sinus infection and vertigo! never heard of that, sounds like something serious, but all it is a fluid in my ears & swollen ear drums that make me feel drunk often... LIFE IS GOOD :) I couldn't have asked for a better day. Slept in until 8:30, jumped in the shower, made my self some coffee, packed all my Creative Memories, got the the two little ones ready and headed to Angie's for the day of scrapbooking. Rick was working, so the two older ones were home alone and did super. Rick came by Angies and picked up Brooke, and I drove mike to a princess birthday party, then the serious scrappin came. I got Brooke & Michlyn all caught up, started an album of Michlyn and her school days / sports. it turned out really nice. I have ton's of journaling to catch up on past albums and get those page protectors on, and then I can really say that they are complete and up to date. I lasted at Angies until about 7:00 p.m. then I headed home for a camp fire and s'more's - I didn't eat any dad! and hopefully I will have a good day tomorrow and be able to write to the FAT *SS Report that I lost this week!!!
What a beautiful day today huh? I love spring!! It just puts a skip into your step... I hear that next Tuesday we will have carpet in our living room down stairs... I sure hope so, it will be nice and homey. Takes a while to do things the right way, we watch for things to go on sale, we watch for the right color of "oops" paint for $ 5.00 bucks a can, we watch for just the right carpet remnant to go on clearance, and we recently found the right guy that will give us padding and install our carpet for a couple cases of beer! Can't beat that!
Kids are all doing good. Happy to report Nicholas is doing awesome in school... it's so nice to hear something like that for once. He just told me and Rick that he is going to have good reports from school come conferences. Michlyn just recently had her school age shot. she was so brave, she can't wait to go to school next year. in the mean time she is enjoying preschool two nights a week. Brooke Loves to change her clothes hourly and be outside all day long! Erica is doing good in school, and being a great help at home. She recently asked me if I could have "the talk" with her... she said so many kids at school know way more then she does. I decided to read a biology book so I could use the proper words to describe things. I feel she is way to young, but if kids are already talking I want her to know the truth... Mostly importantly I talked to her and explained what God wants for her when it comes to that kind of stuff. Kittens are all doing great! they are getting stronger now haven't ventured out of the dog house yet but they peek their little heads out, and we make sure we hold them alot so that they become human friendly. Few more weeks and they will be ready to go on their own to new homes. that will be very hard. Wonder how the Mama's will handle that? breaks my heart to think about it.... but a farm lady told me, ooh don't worry about that, mama will push them away and be ready for them to go. I hope so...
O.k suppose I better crawl into bed and read, need to get rid of this crud I have.
until I write again...
