HELLO EVERYONE

I got to thinking it's been a long time since I have blogged and Dad is probably wondering what we have been up too! not much.... I do have some very exciting news, Rick has finished painting my kitchen... I am so happy with it... he did such a great job. I know I couldn't of did it, I paint like my mother. Erica played her first basketball game last sat. scored 2 points for the team. she is very excited abotu tomorrow, it's homecoming... she was running around earlier before practice trying to find her perfect outfit for tomorrow. Poor girl ended up having to wear a sweater of mine... gotta do some more shopping for her... just waiting to make a little more money come in a few weeks... I have another infant starting up. Nicholas has just finished out his hockey for about a few weeks before he will start back up... Next Friday we have a meeting with his teachers I am so excited to hear how he is doing. that kid is very smart when he wants to be... but alot of the time school just doesn't excite him enough to care... He can do real well if he knows he is getting something out of it. such as tonight... he had lot's of home work because he has been forgetting to bring it home... I said to him let's get to work! and he cried about it... he says he works hard all day, he doesn't want to come home and work again... then I just had to say ooh well, Erica has basketball practice tonight... and he jumped right on it... did pretty good too. Michlyn has been doing awesome at school... hates to ride the bus, every day she has school she will ask me if I will drive her to school, or at least walk her down to the bus stop. Boo has just been being Boo... ooh my gosh, she has issues... I am so sick of being terrorized by a two year old, she screams at me, she is bossy, mean to other kids, she is demanding... I feel like a prisoner in my own home... but I guess that's my own fault... I let her boss me. I do try the time outs but she will just sit there in the time out chair smiling at me... like she likes it.. then she will stand up and wait for me to start walking towards her then sit down, then stand up, sit's down... etc... she is a stinker... but so dang cute... it's so hard to believe it when you see her lying in MY bed with her angel little face... Last Monday us sisters went out to eat at Stacy's favorite resturant TGIF for her 40th birthday... ooh my gosh, it was so much fun! I haven't laughed that good in so long, I felt a million times better after that... not that I was feeling bad... it's just so nice to get such a big pick me upper. Now tomorrow, I am having a friend come over to scrapbook with me, well, we are going to get her started and I am going to go thru all my stuff and see what I can find to give away.. I have so much... I will never use... Tomorrow Rick is taking the two older two to the Homecoming, and Sat we have Rick's 20 year reunion. I am so not looking forward to it... Rick was such a social butterfly when he was in school, and well, I WAS NOT.. so he will be off talking to every Tom, Dick and Harry and Suzie and I will probably be sitting in a corner by my self. Hard to believe my 20th is next year... Haven't heard anything on it... Not sure I would want to go anyway. well, I suppose... OOH last Sat. Me,Rick, Angie and Al went golfing - I was dreading it thinking I can't golf... I am awful at golf, but turned out to be super fun, perfect weather. We played best ball.. so Rick and I were against Angie & Al. out of each couple who ever hit the best ball we would go off of that.. of course the majority of the time we went off of Rick and they went off of Al's balls but it was great practice. We then went out to dinner at Maynor's which was YUMMY! then out for some drinks... a few to many for me.... but it was fun...and I payed for it Sunday.

Thought I better get on the computer and quick blog before Rick comes home. Foot ball has started so t.v. and computer are always in use, not that they weren't before football started. We have been busy the last few weeks... we have made it up North to see mom and dad, we had open houses for school, basket ball practice tonight - Rick was asked to also coach Erica's basketball team along with Nicholas' Hockey, between coaching and fantasy football he will be a busy man. Michlyn started Dance yesterday, and already was taught a couple moves for the fall "Baby Your a Star" Show. She Loves school, although the first day getting on the bus was a little hard. She expected to be able to sit by Nicholas her first time riding the bus but the bus driver wouldn't budge... she cried cried, and ran off the bus once then I brought her back on and she wouldn't let go of my neck, it was a little hard for me too. but I got over it real quick :) 3 down only 1 more to go~! ha ha ha... then I can find me a real job! yeah, right. I summers to think about... there is no way I could find a job that will pay for daycare expenses and make the house payment... sooo maybe I can look for a job with in the school district??? Have my summers off... But then that would put alot of pressure on Rick to make all the bills... but maybe then I could just get a part time job working nights to help out? what I really would wish for is I didn't have to work at all :) now I am not lazy one bit! I could keep busy just organizing/laundry/feeding/taking care of the house/spending quality time with the kids/scrapbooking/ooh I could decorate my house finally! don't have no time for painting. I found out yesterday that I will not have baby Vyctoria the next two days, so I thought I would pull out the paint and try getting my kitchen done, I haven't said anything to Rick cause he will talk me out of it... he says I make a bigger mess trying and my work isn't worth it. so let's see if he checks my blog daily???????? I am a bit excited for this weekend! Friday night we have a sitter OVER NIGHT! can you believe that! 4 kids gone for the night! we have a wedding reception to attend but who knows what we will do after words! You know what I think we should do??? imagine living in a house without a bedroom door becasue we sleep in the loft and 4 busy kids constantly running around and wanting to hang out! Yoo mom, can you bring down that indian blanket! HE HE.. My guess is we will get some decent sleep huh? Then I was asked today by one of my friends if she could take the girls next sat. for a girls night... what luck I have been having! I should try the lotto now! So for next sat. I will just have to find some place for Nicholas to hang out and once again we will have the night to our selves! how exciting! we haven't had that for over 10 years! OOh I am sure we got lucky enough one time or another to have someone take the kids... it's just been so long I don't remember. I guess I really don't have much to update anyone with... I am just now talking to my self. so better go and figure out what we will be eating for dinner.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Today was the kids first day of school... A happy day for mom :) I do like the kids home with me, but it sure is nice to get on some type of schedule going for them. Michlyn doesn't start school until tomorrow... I am really excited for her. She met her teacher last week during open house and found out that her Teachers name is also Michlynn but with two N's. and named from the same Michlyn Minor. Today Erica got up with no problem which I couldn't believe. I got her a new alarm clock she said scared the pooh out of her when it went off this morning, Rick left late for work so that he could see the kids safely off on the bus. Erica left at 7:00 a.m. Nicholas' bus doesn't come until 8:45 but he was ready with his back pack on by 7:30!! he was very excited to go to school and they both looked so cute... Erica looking so much older, and Nicholas looking so handsome. I could hardly wait until the kids came home so that I could see how their first day went... I met Erica coming up the drive way and asked her to rate her day zero to five... five being the best day ever! and she said 4... I couldn't get much information out of Nicholas, he gets home and is on the go wants to know what he can do, he is already bored. Tonight me and the older two went to Kohls to get me a new pair of shoes and I had a gift card to use before Friday or it would be a waste... I was looking at shoes when Nicholas made a scene with the boxes, This one lady was looking at Nicholas like we were in a library or something with her snippy nose up in the air... I was embarrassed and he said MOM why is your face red, I said because that lady is looking at you and your embarrassing me! he said... OOH o.k. I will just go and act like she is my mother... and walked almost right up to her... we all were laughing so hard. He can be so funny sometimes. This week looks to be a busy one... not even 1/2 as busy as it will get but.. tomorrow Rick has his football draft, Thursday the boys have hockey, Friday we are going to the Twin's game - Erica won 4 tickets to the twins so she wanted me and Rick and Nicholas to go.. should be fun. Sat. me and the kids are going to a wedding reception on Rick's side, and he will be at ANOTHER draft... well kids bed time now is 8:00 p.m. so I better get going now so that I can start harrassing tyhem to brush their teeth.
