JOSIE

I love my Josie. I am not a dog person, I never really have been, Cat's are my choice! I didn't even want Josie when Rick brought her picture home.. I didn't care she was free! she was ugly! If I was gonna get a dog, it was gonna be a cool looking Lab or Golden retriever or a police dog! If not that then at least a small little hairy yipper yapper!! a little lap dog! but Rick insisted that we get her and I was just being selfish for not wanting her... The kids would love her... Ends up Josie is my honey, and I love her a bunch. and she loves me the most! I just know it!

This morning, I was sitting watching t.v. with Boo bear and Josie jumped up and started crying walking back and forth then coming in front of me and sitting and crying... I finally looked outside to see what she was so excited about and here sits her big lug of a best friend Dakota sitting at our porch head titled as if asking "can Josie come out and play! " I use to not like this dog when we first moved her.. very skittish, you would try and be friends and it would run away real quick.. just seemed evil... but now that I have gotten to know Dakota I love her too :)

Here are the two best friends, they are always chasing each other, and rolling around... I love to watch them play and that's what puts a smile in my heart!

COUNTRY LIFE

I love where we live, we run into alot of interesting things more interesting then when we lived at the old house... Here my kids founds some birds that fell out of their nest. there was 5 now last night they were down to 3... and I am sad to hear that I didn't hear any birds chirping this morning in the little cooler they are keeping them in... (No Ice) they have went out and found worms, mashed them with hammers and fed them to the birds... they eat a ton... we looked on the Internet that they have to eat every 15 min!

Well, here is Erica and her cute friend Mia. Erica is such an animal lover always trying to save
each little thing she runs across... Anyone out there know what kind of bird this is? I know it's not a very good pict... but best I could do.

I have nothing new to blog, but felt like telling every one hello! and here is a Pict of my cute kids... Enjoy.

Have not been up to anything new... I have been trying to make it into the YMCA every other day. Today was a day but I just wasn't feeling very good...

Last night us sisters got together, Although the guest of honor could not be there... Amy- we get together for each's birthday. We still had fun. I always have such a good time with my sis' we can talk about the dumiest things and end up in tears of laughter... I love you girls... and it always seems to be right when I need it.. a good laugh!

Nicholas has baseball play off's this weekend. Sunday I have to work at the concession stands.. yuck. but had to give $100.00 deposit to make sure you put your 3 hours of volunteer work in... and of course its me that has to do it.

Tonight is a bit different. Erica and Michlyn were invited to go to a movie "ice age" then to their friends' house for a sleep over, this will be Mikes second sleep over, first one was with Sid Mitchell and I ended up going to pick her up at 1:00 a.m. I asked her if she thinks she will be able to make tonight... and she snorts at me, MOM - Erica will be there! I won't be scared... so I am crossing my fingers that I do not get a call at 1:00 a.m. Rick just took Nicholas to the batting cages to get some batting practice in before the big weekend, and Brooke is listening to Camp Rock cleaning her room! she actually does pretty good... and I can even hear her singing in there too.

Looking forward to heading up to visit mom and dad, I miss them, and it will be nice to get away from home for some R&R.. I don't do it here... always so busy running and if not running cleaning etc.

I suppose I better go and make my Nicholas his favorite special K's bars...

Happy Fourth

Very nice 4th of July, we met Rick's folks, brothers & wifes out at Twin lake for a picnic and swimming...

After being at the park a couple hours I get a suprise call - Some friend's came out to spend some time with us at the lake too... (hi becky) It was very nice to just relax and watch the kids play, I just don't allow my self that time to sit and relax while at home always so much I see around me that needs to be done...

After spending the day on the beach, we were invited by the Fisher family to meet them at a park in princton to watch Fire works...

couldn't ask for a better way to spend the day - relaxing, great food and spending time with friends and family.

Today I signed Me, Rick and Erica up for a 5 week Triathion at the YMCA. Probably didn't spell that right, but we have 5 weeks to swim,walk,bike so many miles... we start tomorrow. I am excited yet already anxious on not taking the time to get there and get the miles in... no body wants to fail! It will be a great reason to make sure we get our butts in and exercize! never No, I might just lose some weight??
