NEW ADDITIONS TO THE FYTEN FAMILY

This here is Josie. We adopted her today. Rick has had her eye on Josie for a week now. A friend of a friend has this great 11 month old puppy that needs a new home, for FREE. we have had opportunity like this before but they just never seemed right. Rick felt this was right. so we went to pick her up this afternoon. She is a little shy right now, not anything like a puppy, we haven't heard her bark yet... I am sure she is just nervous and hopefully will come around in a couple days... She is very sweet. She will be an outside dog, which I just hate the thought of that especially winter time... it just doesn't seem right. And I believe Rick believes it will be an outside dog, but I believe all of us will get him to cave.. :)

Also - we got two new little critters: names are princess LuLu and princess Lilly... I never thought I would see the day I would let my kids have these in my house..but what can I say we saved them from being someones lunch! and you know what? they are kinda cute... and I am not even scared to hold them.. only thy thing I don't like is they poop constantly... Have you guess what they are?

Lilly is very vocal... squeak squeak squeak.

I think we will start a hobby farm! when Rick gets my shed built in back, I think I will get me some bunnies too!

Well, It's Nicki Noodles birthday tomorrow, little man turns 10! Rick and I are taking Nicholas and 5 of his friends to Chuck E Cheeses... I love the idea, get it all done right there, cake, gift bags the whole shebang! but then rick tells me, we can't just bring them home after! they will have to come over to play!!! ooh man!!!

O.k. I better get to bed... got to get my sleep and get ready to play all those games tomorrow!

Forgot to mention

I need to really mention this, Erica is very much the penny pincher, but coming out of walmart Erica did walk out of the store with 1 small bag, We got into the car and Erica asked me to open this bag, she had bought me a MOM heart shaped neckless that cost her $26.00!!! It feels great to be loved :)

My Brithday Girl

My baby girl turned 12 yesterday.. This year we tried something different Rick and I decided to give Erica a set amount of money, and that was hers for her birthday she could choose to to spend it all on her self, or she could have a small party of friends and she would have to budget for it. She decided to invite her two bestest friends in the whole world for a day of shopping and dinner. Erica is a money saver so she had saved up quiet a bit of money for this event. including birthday money she had a good amount of cash available!

We started out going to the little shops in E.R. I think I was the only one that bought anything. couple cute shirts for me, buy 1 get 1 half off. :) The girls picked up some movies and we headed to Albertville Mall. Before leaving we got a picture taken, I bought each girl a tiera and a lolly pop and a little things of birthday bubbles, Erica made her own sign on the car that HONK IT"S MY BIRTHDAY... out of the whole day from 11:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. we got one honk the whole day! That was fine by me.
Here is a picture of the 3 little princess' and the chauffeur... And I treated them well, open and closed the door each time they got in and out. brought a Little cooler of pop, and I even had to listen to their radio Station! I went thru a lot.. But if was fun.

Here is Princes Erica in her most favorite place - CLAIR'S all the jewelery you could imagine! but did she buy anything NOPE.. she takes after her grandpa Bob - spends her money wisely.

In this pictures you can see she is wearing a Twilight t-shirt, she talked her dad into going to Walmart 12:00 a.m. March 21 morning to wait in line with a bunch of fighting woman and girls to get the twilight movie! she did spend some money on buying all the cool twilight stuff. the movie, a purse, few buttons, and some posters!

After the day of shopping we stopped of for Chinese food and the deal with that was I gave Erica the set amount and she HAD to buy her friends Dinner. The bill came to $32.00 she looked at me and frowned, and I swear there were tears in her eyes, I just smiled and shrugged and she pushed the cash into the ladies hands. After dinner we went to DQ to get a ice cream cake to bring home.

Here is 7 princess' Nicholas, Amber, Alexis, Brooke, Jenna, Erica, Michlyn. Thank goodness no cake fights tonight... After eating our cake we went down stairs and watch twilight movie, I really liked it.

Here is a picture of the girls after their night of busy fun... I am sad another year has gone by but I am glad Erica's birthday is over with... Mom, remember how Amy says it's my birthday month, it's my birthday week, it's the eve of my birthday, and then all day long we hear it's my birthday, it's my birthday!!!! Today 03/22/09 I really think she is a bit depressed, she gets her self so hyped up over her birthday , and I hard her mumbling to her self today, It's not my birthday anymore, it's over now! Ahh, poor thing... Now in one more week we will celebrate Nicholas birthday! I will post picts. of his adventure!

Great Weekend

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY

We had a great weekend... My folks came down to help celebrate the March's birthday... Erica who turns 12 Sat. and Nicholas who will turn 10 the following Sat. and My mom and I won't tell you what age she just turned on March 15. We had the family over for some of my home made chili and chicken wild rice.

The celebration started out really nice! until Erica had the most brilliant idea to repay her cousin Luke for a cake swipe that happen last birthday party, here is that photo... She didn't get to far and Luke was having none of that! If you can see the back of her head is full of cake! and then here is another pretty picture. Luke had made Erica a L sign on her forehead along with some pretty fancy eyebrows! Did I mention it was permanent marker?

Not sure how long this game will go, but if Luke is anything like his dad, and Erica anything like me... it could go on for years... TOOT TOOT!

I have to quick blog something because I do not like opening up my blog and seeing that swear word. bugs me.
Last night I got a massage for my birthday last year, finally used my gift card... and it was wonderful! I swear she cheated me on time though! that hour went by so fast... and she used the most wonderful oils I have ever spelt! I am a sinus infection so she used this POW menthol type stuff on my face when she massaged my face... I could breath and feel the nasal passage opening up and draining as she massaged! it was great! if you have a sinus infection I suggest you go get your self a facial, or have your honey do it for you!

We had conferences this week... Erica was doing pretty good in every class besides math! well, we had a talk with her and she has already got that up to a B+! she might just get on the honor roll this quarter! I will be so pleased!

My new way of life counting the carbs has been going good.. I have lost 6 lbs since my last blog entry. last night for dinner I had roast and cooked 15 french fries and enjoyed them with ketcup! This morning I enjoyed a piece of that dark brown toast, with the nuts on top, a handful of grapes and a cup of Metamucil mixed with water! YUM!!! ha ha
Tonight I think for a treat I will have sugar free pudding??? or if I feel the need even a candy bar! that will be two carbs! but I think I won't have a candy bar... just because I know I can do it...

the new baby I have Braiden is absolutely awesome. couldn't ask for a better baby again! I have been very lucky the past year in babies!

alright I think this blog should knock the other swear word one down far enough... Hope everyone is doing good..
We are celebrating the older two birthday this weekend along with mom and T.J. looking forward to seeing every one.

I came home from bringing the older two friends home and Rick showed me this picture... Michlyn is really in to trying to spell words her self... she will spell something and ask DAD or MOM what does this spell? It's usually just a bunch of letters. Well, tonight she ask Dad what does this say? Rick said what did you try to spell and she said SIT. when rick told her what she spelt she was so ashamed and tried to throw it away because she was scared that I would see it!

Here I am as a Metallica Rock Fan. Every year my friend Angie throws a theme party this year it was Rock Star, I am not happy with my turn out but ooh well, I have to work with what I have - frizzy hair and a big fat body! It was fun though. Always fun to be goofy and immature once in a while. Next year will be better... we are just doing BLING Casino night... play black jack and other Vegas games for cash! Rick will like that one. I don't have a good pict. of him. He wasn't to happy with going... Every year he says I AM NOT GOING!!! but every year I make him. we always have such fun getting ready for it... but this year he was being really stubborn. I just had a fake earring in his ear and a skull bandanna on his head, and ripped up pants and Harley Davidson shirt.

Other things that has happen is Nicholas had his last Tournament Thurs. they lost Sat. they won and Sunday they won! Now he will start another hockey league but not so intense! we'll have more spare time on our hands.

Well once again, I have a new strategy for losing weight! Last night Angie's brother was at the party and he was looking so much thinner... asked him what he was doing.. and he is diabetic! He has to watch his carbs... I know I always do the No/Low carb but can never ever stick to it... but find that is my way of losing weight when I do stick to it. So my new way of going with it is pretending I have gestational diabetes. When I had it preg. with Michyln I followed a strict diet plan... I was in better shape pregnant with Mike then I ever was and I lost all that preg. weight fast after brith! Here is what I had to do... I get 3 carbs for Breakfast and 3 carbs for lunch and dinner and 1 carb per 3 snacks a day. Each carb will equal 15 grams. so for Breakfast I will get 45 grams of carbs. Lunch and dinner I will have 45 grams each. having a total of 180 grams a carbs a day. I think I can live with that! Angies Dad also is diabetic and that is what he has to do and he looks great. I am sure it will take longer to see results but if that means I get to have my treats once in awhile, that is something I can live with.

This morning I woke to a nice surprise, Erica and her friend Allie made the family breakfast! very impressive! we had bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and pancakes... and I told Rick he is making dinner tonight! so I get away with only having to make lunch today! what a treat!

Alright I suppose I am gonna go catch up on my paper work/mail/book reading! NICE LAzy DAY!! I don't allow very many of those! I will enjoy it.

SNOWY DAYS

Here is my beloved after the snow storm. Such a hard worker. Thanks Honey. aaauug barf... I am just trying to make brownie pts. mama needs a new pair of shoes. I do love you though.

Had a interview for infant care a couple days' ago, looks like they will go with me, just waiting on getting the call of when they will be here to pick up the papers and a start date... that's good news. Nicholas has one last tourney this Thursday and Sat.

Yesterday I spent the entire morning cleaning up the house, I have each room in some what order... would love to go thru my room with a fine tooth comb but I will save it for another time. when I have lot's of time! After that I took the older two to YMCA Now Nicholas is able to go swimming whenever he wishes... doesn't need me to supervise! which is awesome. the kids went swimming and I worked out for about 45 min. Came home and Rick made dinner... yummy porkchops.. thank you Rick.

I am deciding if I want to go to the Y again tonight, but I must be home in time for my all time favorite show 24. although you could go to the Y and work out while watching t.v.! the smartest invention made! can't make any excuses I guess... But I have one... Tonight is 2 hour special, during commercial that is when I clean up my house and get it ready for the next day... so I am debating on if I should go right after work! or skip... the next time I could go is Wednesday... something always seems to pop up or be more important, I guess if your not committed you could come up with an excuse every single day... just gotta make it work, and make your self do it... or stop complaing about how fat ya are! right?!

I am kinda excited for tonight, I have a new stradagy on how I will get my kids to bed! Anyone that knows me knows that bed time has been an issue from the day we had Erica. My kids don't like to go to bed, my kids are scared to sleep in their own rooms.. if we had it their way we all would be sleeping in my little queen size bed, which isn't working anymore! Instead of each night trying to get them to sleep in their own beds, I am going to put Brooke with Erica, and Mike with Nick. that should take care of the crying cuz their scared! I know that will bring on a whole lot of other things like, she won't stop talking, she is smashing me, he is breathing on me... he won't get on his side of the bed... but they all will be down stairs! and I will be up... and if anyone gets out of bed, I will pull out the soap bar... Now how does that sound? mean?!?? I suppose... but ooh well, that's the way it has to be....

Since two weeks ago I have lost 9 lbs. I haven't been trying real hard, I have worked out a couple times, and tried to be more aware of what I am eating... just not OVER doing like I intentionally do all the time... still have been having my treats... just not overboard... I know I won't be able to do this every night... but I will enjoy it right now since I can still lose by making very little sacrifice... wish it could be that easy always. I have been in a self pity mood lately, and feel food is my only friend that makes me happy... of course I know these are all lies.. eventually I think I will figure life out... takes some longer then others right?

O.k. gonna go do some laundry, and then paint with 4 little kids... sound fun?
