Mall Of America

We decided to take a mini get away to Mall Of America, We left Saturday after Rick got off from work @ noon. We started our fun by going to do something Rick loves. we went and watched Air planes.

I didn't have my camera ready in time but as we were driving over a ramp to go park to watch, one of the airplanes was landing and it was just above our heads we could of waved at the passengers...

Now that Rick fulfilled his fun, it was our turn! Mall of America here we come! stopped at the hotel first and got settled in picked up our $50 cash card that we got for renting the hotel room. and walked over to the Mall. I could tell instantly when we got there me and rick's stress level went sky high. I thought I would like the mall, and I did... but I can't handle that many people around... so many people talking and walking around... just not my cup of tea. Anyway, the kids loved it.. we went to Clair's Jewelery first, and Mike announced to dad that she wanted her ears pierced. Rick said no, but I talked him into it, telling him there is no way she would follow thru with it, so he gave the go ahead, Erica, Mike and I made a run for it.. 10 min later........

Mike didn't even cry. I am so proud of her... I really didn't think she would follow thru with it, but right when she got there, she jumped up on the chair and told the lady - I want my ear pierced! she got sparkly diamonds and she looks adorable.

After that we got to see a lady hand cuffed and taken to jail! it was sweet! we were on the third level looking down, right above the action! 6 police swarmed this family, and you heard a lot of yelling and the officer took her back and dug thru it and pulled ton's and ton's of clothing out, still on the hangers! so that was super exciting and got rick and I so pumped up we had to go have a appetizer and beer!

We then got to go to Underwater world for Free! a great friend won a family free all year round pass to underwater world.. it was almost expired, so when she heard that is where we were going, she gave us the coupon! saved us almost $100.00! here are a few picts of that.

This was pretty cool, to walk thru a tunnel of water and to see all the fish up close swimming above you.

Next stop was Nicholas' stop LEGO LAND!!! Nicholas has been infatuated with lego's recently, looking on line for all the types of lego's, looking on craigs list, and ebay, looking at all different stores and checking on prices...

Nicholas was amazed at all the legos.

After lego land we went back to the hotel, and swam, had pizza and watched t.v. It was a nice wekeend getaway...

I haven't been doing that good keeping up with the bloggin... it's hard! but we all have been doing pretty good. nothing really new to share except for, I got the kids on a schedule of doing some chores, and school work... so far so good.. but it's only been a week. It sure is nice have a little extra help here and there. Yesterday was the first time we all went to the YMCA and tried out the new splash deck. that was super fun. Kids loved it, I have a feeling we will be spending alot of time there this summer on hot days... and I can lounge on the chairs and read books! I got a couple new kids this week for daycare, just for the next two weeks, actually they are not brand new, I use to watch them about 4 yrs ago... then they moved to Brained, but now they are back and asked me to do back up daycare in the summer time. It's so much fun to see how they have grown. couple of little cuties. one with a dimple :)
For the summer time fun this year we are hoping to get up North to see mom and dad a couple times this summer, go to the Y alot, and we have a 1 week resort reservation that I am super excited for. I just love getting away and having just each other for entertainment & fun. No phone! No T.v. but of course Rick will bring one I am sure, but that will be just for watching the news... No house cleaning, or laundry or pressures of things that must get done! just R&R ooh and fishing!
Kids are having quiet time now, so I suppose I should get up and pick up the house! My snack time dessert is calling me, so I need to distract my self... we are having this in a pan: 1/2 balded choc. cake, layer of cooked Carmel/butter/sweet condensed milk, another layer of baked chock cake, and smuckers hot Carmel mixed with walnuts! I can't wait!!!!!!!

SHARING THE GOOD NEWS!!!

I just got reliscensed !!! yeah!!! this is the most stressful time of the year for me. not sure why, the 7 years or whatever I have been doing this, every relicensed year has gone by smoothly... but I worry, will Brooke be nice while she is hear? will she say mean and naughty things? will I have a battery in the drawer, or a sharp object! Is my toilet chemicals out where they should be by the diaper station, shoot don;t for get to have paper towels displayed in the bathroom and have all kids paper work up to date, all immunizations done, cats/dogs there rabies done, the list goes on!!!
BUT it's done Today! and I feel I can breath alittle easier!!! ALLELUIA~!~~~~

Super quick messy update

It's been a while since I blogged, and I know mom and dad are probably wondering why, I know Becky is any way :) to much time has past from the last blog, so much has happened, nothing exciting, nothing to even really have to blog about... but thought I will quit procrastinating and just do a quick up date and we'll start fresh from today and try to keep up this time! Actually there really hasn't been a hole lot of time to update... as I just typed this much I have been interrupted 3 times... I have demanding kids... and instead of fixing it right away and teach them patience, I just get up and get what they need so I can get back to typing this... GGGGrrrrr!
Rick has been busy building a shed for me, and a kennel for Josie, it's looking very nice... and I am sure he would be done by now if I didn't get sick. Rick has been on a fishing trip for his birthday with a bunch of buddies and know he had a great time. He is looking at a full busy schedule of working this summer days and nights and sometimes both in the same day! Hard worker he is.

As for me. I am doing good, came down with sinus infection, ear infection and the hives all in one shot, then I think it was the next day after being diagnosed, I ended up getting the stomach flu, I was in bed sleeping and I am NOT KIDDING for 2 days straight, got up to go pee, and that was it! it was awful, But I thank Rick for helping me.. he stayed home and took care of the kids, and the house chores, of course not as good as me :) "( interrupted 3 more times since last)"
I lost 1 family already for daycare - the mom's mom (grandma) lost a job so they will employ her to help her out and maybe call me back when she gets on her feet... NO THANKS... that was Aiden. I will just replace him. It is Tia's last day of daycare today, I have done daycare for Mitchell family many years! but we all are pretty good friends so I know I will see her again real soon I am sure.... and Evan last week is this week, because their dad got a job in Iowa so they are moving.. I will be back down to my two babies. and my own kids... it's summer time so it will be slow enough for me to spend time with my own kids, and lucky rick has overtime, it will come in handy.
Erica is excited and sad for this to be last week of school... I am so happy she likes school... she use to hate it and it was so hard to get her to go. She recently had a babysitting job watching Amy's kids, and she made pretty good money, she was very pleased.
Nicholas is still doing baseball 3 days a week, and loves to keep busy.
Michlyn is just getting over pneumonia AGAIN! and she is in soccer two days a week... she doesn't really play she just stands around and smiles at me!
Brooke is aaaah Brooke is Brooke! demanding little monster that I don't know what I would do without! She failed her kindergarden screening so she has to go back in aug. and she failed her eye exam... so we now have to go to a different doctor and see if the girl needs glasses... ooh brother...

I will have all kids on a schedule this summer of chores and I even ordered school work - math and reading for each... which will take a couple hours a week to do... they love me for it!
o.k. I do have to go, before I am interrupted again! (interrupted 2 times) sometimes I want to pull my hair out.
