Getting ready for another day of work. Joey is here sitting next to me and we are watching little bear. Joey can be so sweet yesterday he gave me a dozen hugs and sat behind me and played with my hair. I wish I knew what he was thinking... Right now he is picking his nose and eating his boogers... really! should I stop him? Naaa, it seems to be something he really enjoys :)
anyway- Not much is new going on, yesterday I went thru the whole play room and dumped every single crate out and started sorting toys all over, it took a whole day to do it, I even labeled the bins and buckets. now I am going to come up with something where the kids will get a ticket and in order to get something else out, they need to clean up the first... sounds really dorky I know, But I tell ya, I am so sick of cleaning up after them... they need to start doing it them selves. not just talking about daycare, even my 10 year old... Nicholas had hockey practice down at the pit last night, and Michlyn had preschool last night both at 6 p.m. in the same location, how nice is that? Erica decided to go with so that she could skate a bit and sliding... I got to stay home with Boo. We finished picking up the mess that i had started, and vacuumed and we did her favorite thing listen to and danced to Hannah Montana No bodies perfect... she says it like this "peewfee"she can sit and listen to that over and over and over, then we took bath, and watched a penguin movie and she fell asleep. Tonight we have a family Meadowvale dance to go to, and the kids are to wear there PJ's. it's a Pajama party dance. The only good thing I can come up with from that is, when we get home, the kids can go right to bed, no messing around getting ready for bed since it will be 10p.m. Erica seems to think we need to stay the whole time. But I think that is getting pretty late for Brooke... Maybe Rick and I will drive separate so that me and the two older ones can stay longer. Getting pretty excited... Rick has been working his tail off in Nicholas room and in the hall way, hanging doors to each room/closet this weekend Nate H. is coming over to lay the carpet... in Nicholas room and hall way. It's all coming along finally! Next step will be to move all living room stuff into the hall way so that we can get going on the living room, it will be so nice to have a bigger living area, where we can split up and watch separate t.v.'s if we want... other wise we are always stuck watching Hockey or cartoons... :( I can't wait to have a quite place to go read my book or just to sit and relax instead of hearing mom mom mom..... Rick has made the hallway even look so nice, he has made a built in book shelf for me, with decretive trim and corners... it all is looking great... can't wait!
O.k. kids will be walking in soon... I know this is all boring, but this is my life taking care of my family...
