It's been a while

It's been a while, alot has happen over the past few weeks. The most exciting news is I am a grandma! My mama cat had babies. I found them today. I went out to feed the 3 cats that we do have and Mama looked so skinny, I looked in the dog house , lined with straw that we have set up on the deck for the cats for the cold winter, and I seen little paws stretching. I can't tell you the excitement I felt! Not as cool as when I witnessed Todd Samuel's Birth but it was neat... MaMa had 5 kittens, 3 grey and two calico. They are adorable. Anyone want a free kitten to a good home... they won't be ready for 6 weeks. If I could I would keep them all, and be the cat lady... but Rick wouldn't allow it. I think one of our other kittens that is not even a year is pregnant too! or she has a huge worm living in there.
Amy invited me to come to the hospital to witness the birth of Todd Samuel. It was very emotional for me. I mean I was right up there! holding Amy's leg so I got to see the whole thing! It was awesome!! After birthing 4 of my own, you would think it's old news... but never could I get sick of seeing such a miracle. SO THANK YOU AMY! I must thank Rick also, he stayed home and watched our kids and the daycare kids so that I could go..
What other news can I share???????????? OOH I lost another daycare boy. So I am down to watching 3 kids all partimers. I am a bit scared... but I am really trying not to worry, God shows me time and time how he takes care of his own. And besides I have to be honest it's been really nice getting caught up with cleaning on my slow days... I knew Aiden wouldn't be staying long, the mom works down town and she comes from Elk River... she sorta had to back track and took up a bunch of time to early in the morning when it could be sleeping time! I don't blame her... OOh well, in another 5 weeks, I will have an infant starting. Hopefully I can get a couple more pre schoolers in here and I will be set for summer. This weekend should be exciting. Nicholas has his jamboree Hockey, always love to watch my kids perform... Nicholas has 3 games this weekend.
Erica and Nicholas are getting exciting, their birthdays are coming up, Erica will be 11 and Nicholas will be 9! Time flies. We are having the family over for cake and ice cream.
I should up date you on the basement. not sure where I left off last time, but Rick has gotten the ceiling finished almost all the trim, and last weekend he finished the tile.. now this weekend we will measure for carpet and hopefully with a couple weeks have our selves a living room! it will be really nice.
Well, Rick's waiting to get on line - his big thing now is purchases crap off of e-bay. well, I guess I shouldn't call it crap, it has been some pretty good stuff with great prices.. I wish he would put some of his treasures out on e-bay and make us some money :)
until I write again - and hopefully not so long until the next.
