Michlyn's smarts
This happen a few days ago, I have been meaning to write it in the blog before I go and forget. I want these little things the kids do, so that someday I can come back and show them how funny they are... or maybe not so funny...
I know where Michlyns smarts come from !!! RICK...
The other day, she was in her bedroom up against the door, I squeezed thru and put some clothes away, turned around and there on the floor she was sitting with the guiltest look on her face, I asked her what happen, She claims nothing... walking out on the floor I seen letters MIC written in marker on her carpet. HMMM... I said Mike who in the world did this? knowing darn well she did it... she innocently looks up with puppy eyes and says, I DON"T KNOW! I asked her several times and she says momma I promise I didn't do it.. I said Mike, Jesus knows everything you do, it is making him feel bad if your lying... she got huge tears in her eyes and wined .....but I am sorry! Pretty much all my kids have gone thru this... KIDS-If your going to lie about writing on walls and you don't want to get caught... it would be a good idea to use maybe your siblings letters...

Feb. 19th 2008
It's been a while since I have blogged, so better let you all know what I have been up too... even though really not that much. This past weekend was awesome, I can now say that I am all caught up with my kids albums for the time breing. It was a lot of fun hanging out with 24 crazy ladies. I went with Jill M. she had to leave on Sat. so I stayed by my self with the other ladies until sunday, the good thing about that is I didn't talk a whole lot after Jill left and that was when I got the most done, now all i need to do is journal and put page protectors on. We had lot's of awesome food, so of course I gained a few lbs. Now that I am caught up with the kids, I think of what else I would like to get into.. I have so many pictures from years and years... maybe I will get to them someday when I am retired HA HA..
Yesterday was a nice quiet day, I just had Aiden here and the whole family. I went ad got my hair cut and colored... and today I just have two kids plus my own two... so another easy day... after daycare today I will be bringing the kids to go so see SpiderWick. We have a sitter for Brooke. Tonight Rick is gone at the MN WILD game.... he is pretty excited about that... Hopefully this weekend our living room will be ready for some carpet... and I have just the color picked for it. Rick has just about all the trim d0ne, and the painting... so not much more left besides carpeting and moving stuff in. can't wait. He then said he would start on my pantry closet. that will be nice to store all my junk in... and get rid of some things that are in the way... this house isn't big enough for 6 of us with loads and loads of stuff. we have to make every inch funtional. Well, I have seriously been anxiously waiting for spring... that probably is my most favorite season. it just makes me happy, seems I can hear birds better, planes better, I love how everything starts turning Green... It reminds me of NEW, FRESH,and happy.. Can't help but feel giddy when you get to open our windows for the first time of the year, and let all that fresh air in ooh and the smell of all the spring cleaning...
I think our mama cat is pregnant. what a great experience to get to witness. I not only get to watch my sister Amy give birth... but I get to see my cat too! well, I think she is pregnant anyway. she sure feels like it.
I suppose not much more to write. just gonna go drink some coffee and get motivated to do something around here Still trying to recooperate from the long weekend scrapbooking... that can be hard work staying up late and sitting in the same spot for 15-17 hours straight.
Tonight I am taking kids to go see SpiderWick. I am very excited, I heard it was an awesome movie.

Feb 12th
Hello Everyone
Just got back from picking Michlyn up from preschool, ran and did errands while she was there, had to go to Angie's to try on a renisaunce dress she barrowed for her theme party coming up in March... I looked hidiously 9 months pregnant... so I thing I will stick to my mom's that she is barrowing me. I don't fit into that one either the back doesn't zipper, but ooh well, I will have to come up with something, anyone have any ideas, that would be great! This past weekend we went to mom and dads - very relaxing... not use to be able to sit and lie around... We were hoping to be able to go ice fishing, and do some skating but it was FREEZING!!! so I think in a few weeks when hockey allows us to we will head up again and try it again! Being at mom and dads makes me excited for this summer... I really hope we can get up there more! I love it!
Well, the two older ones have exactly a week to decide if they will go to camp this year. Last year we sent Erica to Big Sandy Camp it's a religious camp... she absolutely loved it but hated to be away from us, she says she isn't going this year, but Rick says she is... This will be Nicholas first year going, and he is bringing a friend... I know he would really love it too But he says he will not go if Erica will not go... Rick told me to write the check out, they are going! I really want to do just that.. but I am not sure if mentally if we made the kids go, would it hurt them? would they hate us? would that some how hurt their little characters. How about any of you??? were you forced to go to church camp, loved it but hated being away from home? I just remember when I was young, I could literely get sick to my stomach missing home when I was away. I would hate for my kids to have that pain... I know it was painful for Erica last year but she still came back saying it was a blast... well, I suppose gotta wake up early for work.. ONLY 2 more full days until I am gone scrap booking 24 hours if I want! I can't wait! THANK YOU RICK!!
ooh, just so you know I really mean it, I will say publicly thank you for being so sweet lately, you melt my heart. I can't figure out why my spell check is not working... but hope you can read.
OOH that last blog entry, I didn't write that - my best friend Angie did... she doesn't want me to forget how greatful I should be for her!! THANKS ANGIE!!!

My Best Friend-Angie
Today my best friend (Angie Christensen) came over to watch the kids while I went to the school to watch the kids jump rope for heart. It was very unexpected and very kind. She's the best! I don't know what I'd do without her.

Anticipation
Can't Wait! 27 hours we will be heading out to visit mom and dad in Henning... I love the drive - if I have a good book, which I do! I love the small towns up there, I love the nature, I love visiting with mom and dad - just being close to them makes me feel good. I love the walks up and down their quiet little rode, I love to walk with the kids to the drop off to throw Rocks in the lake, although we won't be doing that this time! I love the smell of mom's sheets, and the smell of dad burning wood, I love the big black sky at night with all the stars and at dusk the beautiful sun set... I have 3 pictures of just that haning on my wall at home. I love going to dad and mom's and when you first walk in, candles are lit that smell great , everything looks so clean for the first few min. :) mom usualy has lights hanging on a plastic tree... It's just HOMEY!! I love the fact that I am back "home" and mom is taking care of me :) cooking meals for me, Dad makes my coffee! it's like a little vacation! I sleep in when I want, I go to bed when I want.. .I have really no responsiblities besides my kids... I don't have to clean casue the kids have nothing besides what they have taken out of their suit case which sometimes can be alot... but usually don't worry about that until the day we pack up to leave... No house work waits for me, no laundry that I should be doing, no coming up with a meal, nothing naggin in my ear to come take care of me! I sound lazy, but I am not... I am just a hard working mother of 4 that likes alittle me time! I don't know how to relax unless I am out of MY house... Always feel there is work to be done. Tonight Nicholas has hockey at the pit along with Michlyn having school inside, and I am sure Erica will want to go skate so tonight looks like a super night with just my Boo, I will probably pack a little bit and clean up the house, not just because I love to come home to a spotless house, but I have a interview tomorrow with a family that is looking for daycare for their New Born baby in a few months.. I could really use the clientell. I just got word the other day ago that my only full time might be leaving soon, they wanted to give me a heads up that they were approached by a close neighbor that she will watch Aiden for $50.00 cheaper a week! and being so close it's to appealing... I guess I can't blame them... But it's hard to find people you like, ya want to hang on to them if you can, but I can't do it for $50 cheaper... that's nuts. so I guess I will be children hunting again! I am guessing I will be doing daycare for another few years. I would like to stay home with Boo... But I also wouldn't mind sending her to a christian daycare "little lambs" You know if your in daycare to make money, you probably could make some good money, you'd lose your mind... but you would make good money... I have never been about making money although I have been there a time or two and it sure is nice to not worry but you have no time to spend with any of the kids, you go absolutely nuts, and by the time your kids come home from school you are so sick of kids. totaly beats the purpse of wanting to stay home with your own, if you can't stand the sight of kids after workign hours... so I like to keep it small.. just enough to be able to spend time with the kids doing activities, crafts, pre school etcc. make enough to help my family and pull my share... Although I do believe us woman do plenty of that, not even working... just being home and doing home things and taking care of the family is alot! ANYWAY.... Right now I am watching Barney with Brooke, she has watched I think maybe 265 times since last week. That movie is at least 9-10 years old. Barney's Big adventure... I believe Lisa bought it for Erica...
I should get going... need to go look up some renisaunce costumes... every year we have a march theme party to go to, and this year they are doing renisaunce... I stress over this every year... I NEVER win but Rick does... it's always idea's I have come up with... anyone have any suggestions for me? ps. my spell check is not working... so good luck reading.
