Anticipation

Can't Wait! 27 hours we will be heading out to visit mom and dad in Henning... I love the drive - if I have a good book, which I do! I love the small towns up there, I love the nature, I love visiting with mom and dad - just being close to them makes me feel good. I love the walks up and down their quiet little rode, I love to walk with the kids to the drop off to throw Rocks in the lake, although we won't be doing that this time! I love the smell of mom's sheets, and the smell of dad burning wood, I love the big black sky at night with all the stars and at dusk the beautiful sun set... I have 3 pictures of just that haning on my wall at home. I love going to dad and mom's and when you first walk in, candles are lit that smell great , everything looks so clean for the first few min. :) mom usualy has lights hanging on a plastic tree... It's just HOMEY!! I love the fact that I am back "home" and mom is taking care of me :) cooking meals for me, Dad makes my coffee! it's like a little vacation! I sleep in when I want, I go to bed when I want.. .I have really no responsiblities besides my kids... I don't have to clean casue the kids have nothing besides what they have taken out of their suit case which sometimes can be alot... but usually don't worry about that until the day we pack up to leave... No house work waits for me, no laundry that I should be doing, no coming up with a meal, nothing naggin in my ear to come take care of me! I sound lazy, but I am not... I am just a hard working mother of 4 that likes alittle me time! I don't know how to relax unless I am out of MY house... Always feel there is work to be done. Tonight Nicholas has hockey at the pit along with Michlyn having school inside, and I am sure Erica will want to go skate so tonight looks like a super night with just my Boo, I will probably pack a little bit and clean up the house, not just because I love to come home to a spotless house, but I have a interview tomorrow with a family that is looking for daycare for their New Born baby in a few months.. I could really use the clientell. I just got word the other day ago that my only full time might be leaving soon, they wanted to give me a heads up that they were approached by a close neighbor that she will watch Aiden for $50.00 cheaper a week! and being so close it's to appealing... I guess I can't blame them... But it's hard to find people you like, ya want to hang on to them if you can, but I can't do it for $50 cheaper... that's nuts. so I guess I will be children hunting again! I am guessing I will be doing daycare for another few years. I would like to stay home with Boo... But I also wouldn't mind sending her to a christian daycare "little lambs" You know if your in daycare to make money, you probably could make some good money, you'd lose your mind... but you would make good money... I have never been about making money although I have been there a time or two and it sure is nice to not worry but you have no time to spend with any of the kids, you go absolutely nuts, and by the time your kids come home from school you are so sick of kids. totaly beats the purpse of wanting to stay home with your own, if you can't stand the sight of kids after workign hours... so I like to keep it small.. just enough to be able to spend time with the kids doing activities, crafts, pre school etcc. make enough to help my family and pull my share... Although I do believe us woman do plenty of that, not even working... just being home and doing home things and taking care of the family is alot! ANYWAY.... Right now I am watching Barney with Brooke, she has watched I think maybe 265 times since last week. That movie is at least 9-10 years old. Barney's Big adventure... I believe Lisa bought it for Erica...
I should get going... need to go look up some renisaunce costumes... every year we have a march theme party to go to, and this year they are doing renisaunce... I stress over this every year... I NEVER win but Rick does... it's always idea's I have come up with... anyone have any suggestions for me? ps. my spell check is not working... so good luck reading.
