Nicholas January 31st 2008

I have to write these things down, becasue the older I become I realize that it is hard to remember anything these days. I always say I am going to remember that I put this there, and I have to do this then, and I will remember to write this down, I never do anymore... so I have to hurry up and write this one down..
2 days ago Erica - Nicholas - and me were driving in the car and Nicholas sat staring out the window, I asked Nicholas what he was thinking about and he said He found out that Jordan (girl at school) won't be his valentine. I tried hard not to laugh incase he wasn't kidding... and he wasn't... he was pretty disappointed. so I asked him why, and he said well, I am not really sure, but I think it's becasue of my hair... I need a hair cut. She seems to like Ben now (nicholas' only friend in school) I can't believe Ben stole my girl. Then he shot up and said MOM can we go get my hair cut? I said o.k. but we needed to run to target then we could dive by great clips to see if they were busy. so in target we went looking around Nicholas had 8 bucks in his pocket burning a hole, he can't stand to even have a quarter in his possession, if he has it, it needs to be gone... He said mom - I really would like a toy, but frist I am going to go to the valentine section and see what they have maybe I can get Jordan something? I said O.k. so he came back to me and said, well, I found something, so I can only spend $6 on a toy for me and $2 on a valentine for Jordan . so we went and looked at toys, and he couldn't find anything that would allow him to only have to spend $6.00 he decided his toy was more important then getting his girl something. besides she liked Ben now, becasue he was funnier then him. We got home and I see Nicholas walking around with a little jewelery box the kind you gjve as a present. I asked him what he has there? He said Erica let me look thru her jewerely and pick something out for Jordan. I open the box and there was a pink plastic ring you get from a gum ball machine, and a beautiful bracelet that Mom made! I said nicholas! Grandma made this! I don't think Erica knew what he had taken because she is EXTREMELY sentimental of the things she gets from loved ones. I didn't want to go upsetting him and yelling No, and I didn't want Erica to freak out on Nicholas so I didn't say nothing thinking I would come up with something before he left the next day to school. He put the jewlery box up on the counter, and said MOM remind me to bring this to school for Jordan,, I said aaah o.k. thankfully it's still sitting on the counter... I am worried he will look like a dork giving that to her? I asked how and when was he going to do it, he said IN CLASS! DA. Man, he is so different then Erica... Erica is very quiet and doesn't talk about any one cute. boys are gross, on the other hand Nicholas has been doing sit ups cause he heard chicks dig a 6 pack. HE IS ONLY 8!! I am alittle concerned... I hope he doesn't turn to be like his dad, a little pervert.? OOh well, I will have to start praying for him and talking to him about how he needs to treat a lady. since I don't think he is going to pick up any tips from his old man.
I think he's going to be a ladies man.
