Not much has been going on here. Rick and I put our volunteer hours in at the hockey rink which turned out to be pretty fun, I complain about to much hockey but the the truth is once you get in there and hear the ice skates slice thru the ice, hear the hockey puck being batted around, a little checking going on, it kinda puts a surge of energy in ya. It was fun watching the older kids play - boy they can get rough out there! So we put in our hours, and that was pretty much our weekend. Brooke got on her skates and absolutely hated it. didn't want to be put down, unless she was put on her butt.
Last Friday I got some pretty sad, scary, bad news... I lost one of my daycare families. Vyctoria's mom showed up 9:30 Friday morning crying, I didn't know what to think when I seen her, I was relieved when she told me it was her job, I was so worried she was going to tell me something happen to her husband... so I was relieved but then it started slowly sinking in... and OUCH! Sooo here I go again, looking for another family. I miss Vyctoria, I think Willy (mom) isn't going to be in a hurry to look for another job she is going to take this time to enjoy her baby girl eventually start looking again.. I will always have a spot for my little Torie if they decide to come back.
Next weekend Nicholas has another hockey tournament in St. Paul, this one is a little weird, we have a game on Thursday and then it continues on Sat. & Sun We decided to stay at a hotel sat. night but that was before I found out I lost a family... I think we are still gonna do it, but it might be hard to enjoy our selves when we know we can't really afford it. but we'll do our best :) I won't have a hard time enjoying not cooking, and cleaning up after kids! and I don't think I will hate sitting on the pool side reading my yadayada book either!
Next Friday mom and dad are coming to stay with us, we are looking forward to their visit! kinda works out nice! Mom also said they were coming down to look at a couple town homes... I love to hear that... I miss mom and dad... and life just seems to short to be away for so long from the ones you love , mom and dad are 2.5 hour drive, doesn't seem to bad, but when you got 4 kids with activities, it just rarely works out to go visit... MOM AND DAD JUST BUY A PLACE ON ORONO LAKE IN ELK RIVER... there you will have the beauty of the lake yet, be close to us!

Arena the same time Boo has gymnastics which will work out nice we can all go together. Speaking of gymnastics, Boo LOVED it... and she can do a better cartwheel then anyone of those munchkins :) I think her favorite part is when ever they are done with a "trick" she has to stand up raise her hands above her head and say TADA!!!
This weekend I was hoping to take my two older girls shopping at Kohl's with all the money we do not have, Erica is down to only a couple pairs of pants, and Mike had gotten one new out fit for school, I think she deserves a couple new out fits, she tells me mom - I don't have any cute clothes... :( I tell her either do I!!! I have out grown all my clothes! but the good news is I lost almost 5 lbs. last week. I am shooting for ooh I don't know...... another 100! Wish me luck...

aren't we getting fancy....I like the new look of your blog! I love switching mine up every once in awhile!
As you can see I am behind again in reading blogs! We got a call that the 2 places we wanted to look at are gone. So we are just going to have to wait until closer to when we will be coming to see if there is anything to look at.
