It's been over a month

Hi Mom and Dad! and who ever else likes to read my rare occasional blog.
Haven't wrote in a while, I was finally checking everyone elses, and wondered if everyone else gets a bit irritated when there is NEVER any updates.. so I thought.. hhhhmm.. they probably feel the same way about me!
What's new with me? Nothing! just excited for Christmas... getting ready for Christmas! Love Christmas! I have all my baking, buying - almost and wrapping done! and now I am going to spend the next week reading Luke...
For the past few years, I got a great Idea from a great friend about only buying 3 gifts for the kids at Christmas because that is what Jesus got was three gifts, and it's his birthday we are celebrating after all, so why go broke down this year buying more then 3 gifts hat will probably be lost,broke etc.. in a few weeks. well, this year some how Rick talked me out of that rule... I have to say though, I have so much fun buying for my kids! they really don't get much besides for their birthday, and sports, and clothes for school.. we don't ever just run to the store and buy them things... so I have a great time doing it... I think all kids will be very happy this year and the most special gift I will get is having MY MOM AND DAD over night Christmas eve! I am so happy to get to have them here, I feel like I won the lottery! we were to rent the hotel breakfast room for Christmas eve, but I just really wanted to have it at my house this year, more personal! We are hoping to get more snow, so we can slide, and Rick has the ice rink flooded, we will have more to do on it, but I am hoping we can get out there and do that. I made rick hang Christmas lights outside this year, because I wanted it to be extra beautiful! BUT guess what? after getting them all hung, and even trying them out.. all of a sudden last night they went out and we can't figure out why? very irritating!
We have some fun things coming up, we are going to Dad & mom's for new years because Nicholas has a tournament in Detroit lakes that weekend... For Christmas this year I had gotten a early Christmas gift from one of my daycare parents. are you ready for this??? A NIGHTS STAY IN THE OTSEGO WATERPARK HOTEL, ALONG WITH 6 WATER PARK PASSES! that's an awful darn nice gift... and I can't tell you awesome it feels to feel so appreciated... I mean I would have felt great with a special thank you card, so this is over the top! we were thinking of using it over Christmas vacation but now we are thinking it would be a great time to use it in March, around the kids birthdays and then we could let them each have a friend come and use the water park too?
I had to go to the dr. today :( my sinus infection still has not gone away since 4 weeks ago! so I am back on meds for that! I also did something to my back... couldn't figure out what though... started in my neck last Monday, and now its underneath my left shoulder blade... it hurts so much that I could almost throw up from it.. it's the worst at night - no sleep and in the morning.. aah! enough to make me cry! well, the dr. gave me some exercises to do 5 times a day, heat the area and ice it! and best of all I got some pergacet to help me sleep at night! My favorite... that stuff kicks butt...
O.k. well, I hear my babes crying... Nap time must already be over...
