Our family Vacation to Disney! Elk River to St. Louis, Mo.

Left E.R. about 9 p.m. Wednesday evening. Drove thru to St. Louis Mo. It was not a nice drive
It has taken us a total of 15 hours to finally arrive, we faced snowy roads in Iowa, I don't think they own a plow - cars and semi's in the ditch. At times it was so snowy from semi's wizzing by that we had to quick stop in the middle of the highway to wait for it to clear. At times the roads were so deserted rick stopped the car and peed right out on the highway! Men are so lucky! In Missouri we faced icy roads and came upon a fresh accident, of course Rick being the man he is hat to stop and see if he could help he ended up coming back to the truck very disturbed. A truck rolled and the poor driver was pinned unconscious under 1/2 of his truck kinda took the excitement out of anything we were feeling.. just wanted to get to our hotel and out of the weather.

The reason of our choice for first stop to be St. Louis was to see the Blues Vs. Los Angles Kings. AWESOME! Everyone of us loved it!

Blues won the game, we then took a taxi back to our hotel (first time kids were in a taxi) A fun experience for them.. Brooke liked not having to buckle up and she got to sit on my lap. we went back to the hotel for pizza and sleep to get ready for our next day travels. As of right now we are in TN. We have not decided if we will drive to Atlanta, Georgia or go the whole way to Daytona, Fl! We have a surprise for the kids in Daytona, you will have to watch my blog to see what it is! So will we go another 2 hours or 9 hrs!!?? Rick says we will see how he feels.

Brookie doesn't really understand what Florida is. When we stopped a couple times to pee she would say are we at Florida now? or at the hotel - are we at Florida now? Hockey game - After hockey are we going to Florida? Hard to explain to a 5 year old what Disneyworld is when it's hard to imagine your self... we are very excited! Will blog more tomorrow!
