January 13th 2008

It's been a busy weekend, well, not that busy, I just feel like it has... I think I might be getting sick. Feeling just run down. Friday I brought Nicholas, Erica and Michlyn to the Pajama party, I was dreading it, but turned out to be kinda fun, ran into some old friends I haven't seen in a while, and it was fun watching how out going Michlyn can be, her brother and sister took off with a friend and she didn't care no one was not there for her, she got right in there and did the limbo, and the hola hoop. I was so happy to see Nicholas had someone to hang with he normal goes by him self and just looks around doesn't say he's bored, he just stands around and watches. We got home about 9:30, put the kids to bed and watched a little t.v. While I was at the dance, Rick and Brooke cleaned up the basement to get ready for Nate Humphreys to come put the carpet in. He gave us an awesome deal and he does a great job. So now Nicholas room is finally carpeted, we still have to do a few touch ups and stain his door and closet door. Rick finished the book case and it looks great.. He even filled up two shelves! which I am not happy about, it was suppose to be mine, he put some of those big old encyclopedia that get used so often... I do like them though, only because they were mine when I was little.
Sat. I invited Miranda over for over night, she has such an awesome sense of humor.. we had a lot of fun and she makes me laugh. or maybe I make my self laugh and she laughs with me that makes it even funnier.??? We went to a movie - Waterhorse - very cute! we ice skated, and played alot of PS2. Dad - you will have to play guitar hero... it's awesome and Miranda will blow your mind too... I don't understand how someone can be that fast, it makes no sense to me...
Well, one of my things that I wanted to start this year was faithfully going to church, I am pretty disappointed in my self. The first week I was out of town, now this week I was just to dang tired... when I woke up it was already 9:00, the family service I was planning on taking everyone to started at 9:30. so once again, I didn't go... I asked Michlyn if Tuesday she would rather go to church or school, I let her miss once in a while, and she wants to go to church, so we will go and make up for today. But I wonder if that service will be the same as next week service or is it the same of what was done today? Maybe I should just plan on going ever Tuesday instead of Sundays? Sundays seem so hard, only because I think all week long I am on a schedule of things we HAVE to do...and weekends I love. I can hang out in my jammies, I can cook when i want and I can stay up as late as I want and wake up when I want, But I know that is crap... God is worth having to wake up earlier for and interrupting what I think is me time... If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have any time here... I really need a kick in the pants. My kids need to get to church too. I hate the thought of having to wake up early and getting all the kids ready to go, and try and do with grace because your walking out the door to go to church, I usually get all huffy and puffy yelling at them to do this and this hurry with this... and sometimes even have swore. Then i get embarrassed because I am swearing at them to hurry and get ready so we can go to church and praise Jesus... what a great exampling I am showing them. o.k. well, enough of that... I am working on it...
I really don't have much more to say.
Just gonna go now and read my good book "19 minutes" and look at the Sunday paper and have some frozen yogurt and go to bed... OOH don't tell me, because me doesn't like to think that I am dieting... but I lost 5 lbs this week...
until I write again.

Don't let dad kid you. I just got him to go with me today! Now we won't be going for a couple of weeks, so I will have to start all over and get both Dad and Miranda to go with me. I love hearing what is going on in your house. Never dull.
